Girls in the Know presents Knowledge & Power: Small Bites & Big Ideas

January 16, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Here’s your chance to start the New Year Off with a gift that lasts a lifetime—a strong, healthy mother-daughter bond!

Mark your calendars for January 16-17, 2016, for an incredible journey of love, laughter, and learning with special guests Sil and Eliza Reynolds, mother-daughter co-authors of the bestseller Mothering and Daughter, Keeping Your Bond Strong Through The Teen Years.

Sil (mom) and Eliza (daughter) will lead 20 mothers and their preteen/teen daughters in a weekend of initiation, communication, and celebration. Participants will take time to nourish their relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely. Through ritual, storytelling, art, and exercises in communication, participants will be given tools to build bridges and keep them strong through the rocky teen years.

Join us January 16-17, 2016, on the journey to reclaim your mother-daughter bond for life! Sil and Eliza’s message is a game changer and doesn’t align with modern culture—a message that will have real impact in reducing bullying, suicide, and low self esteem among our young girls by opening lines of communication and strengthening their bond between moms and their daughters.  Get ready to be your daughter’s ally—not her enemy—and enjoy a mutually rewarding relationship as she grows up and becomes independent.

Mothering (mother-er-ing); n. Raising your daughter to become herself.

Daughtering (daught-er-ing); n. Staying real with your mom.
